“We needed a tranquil but functional space for our board’s annual retreat, and after looking at nearly a dozen locations to rent, I chose General Store Cowork. It’s in a beautiful part of Delaware, but most importantly it’s delightful inside. We had 2 board room tables (one held our catered lunch), and the other sat us all (10 plus the facilitator). Then, to connect we chose to sit in a circle and had the space to do that too. We were able to use a large white board, as well as the water purifier, mugs, plates, and everything else in the kitchenette, too. There are 2 bathrooms, which kept our breaks short. Everything was exceptionally clean and ample. I really appreciated having what we needed right at hand. Everyone agreed it was a great choice. We highly recommend renting this space for a retreat or meeting where you want a well-coordinated vibe.”
